Will Mauricio Pochetinno continue next season? A crucial look at his job security.

The Chelsea owner has taken to his club the managerial system being looked into this summer to enable the Blues to find a better place in the top English fight next season.

Pochettino has this week been due to meet with Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, as well as sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, to review the season.

Though he has already proven in his last games that he has the capacity to take the blues next season as he exhibits resilience and boldness, he is probably not going to take up the position next season.

The former Tottenham manager was admitted to Chelsea’s head coaching system last year to take up the position of organizing the blue in achieving better standings.

But due to the complete excavation of former experienced players into inexperienced players, Chelsea had lost form despite finishing in sixth place and securing European football.

Chelsea’s new structure is still bedding in, with Blues chiefs still adding staff to their set-up and fleshing out detail in terms of responsibilities, leaving Pochettino keen to see how the beefed-up logistics are in action.

Pochettino steered Chelsea to just one defeat in their last 15 Premier League matches, turning 11th place in April into a sixth-place finish.

The manager is thought to be ready to tell the Chelsea board that he is confident of continuing his trend of delivering an improved second season, as he has in all his previous managerial roles.
